How to Watch Louisville Bats at Durham Bulls: Stream Minor League Baseball Live, TV Channel

The Durham Bulls open their final home series of 2023 against the Louisville Bats on Tuesday.

The Durham Bulls (80-58, 40-23) have won three straight games and are 8-1 in September as they open their final home series of the season at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Tuesday night against the Louisville Bats (70-66, 30-33). The Bulls come into the six-game series leading the International League second-half standings by two games over Lehigh Valley while Louisville's tragic number is three — two losses in this series will eliminate the Bats from postseason contention. Neither team had announced starting pitchers for Tuesday. The Norfolk Tides won the first half title and will host the IL championship series, a best-of-three contest scheduled to open on Sept. 26.

Durham comes off taking five of six at Charlotte last week, closing the series on Sunday with a 7-5 victory over the Knights. Tristan Gray's second homer of the game, a two-run shot in the seventh, broke a 5-5 tie and powered the Bulls to the win. After a 3-for-4 day with three RBI, Gray is second in the IL with 87 runs batted in.

The Bats salvaged the final two games of last week's series with St. Paul after losing the first four outings. Jason Vosler doubled with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game at 2-2 before Jose Barrero grounded a single to right in the bottom of the 10th for a 3-2 walkoff victory. Jhonny Pereda was 4-for-5 with a homer for the Bats.

Louisville is the Triple-A affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds while the Tampa Bay Rays supply the talent for Durham.
